PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drainage basin whose branch pipe inlet is hard to clog. SOLUTION: A top part 14 of an inner peripheral surface of a branch pipe inlet 3 is located above a top part 15 of an inner peripheral surface of an inlet 4. Drainage flowing in from the inlet 4 flows into the inlet 3 and does not flow back. Sewage flowing in with the drainage is prevented from being retained near the inlet 3, so that a drain pipe connected to the inlet 3 can be hard to clog. An opening/closing lid can be fitted into a cleaning opening 21. A malodor of the drainage and the drainage can be prevented from leaking outside from the cleaning opening 21. An upper part of the inlet 3 can be opened in a part of the cleaning opening 21. Since a sectional area of an opening can be secured without lengthening the inlet 3, a basic body 2 and the inlet 3 can be easily cleaned from the cleaning opening 21. A bottom part 16 of the inner peripheral surface of the inlet 3 can be located in an approximately central area of the inner peripheral surface of the inlet 4 in the height direction of the basin body 2. It can be made harder for the drainage flowing into the basing body 2 from the inlet 4 to flow back to the inlet 3.
