PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recorder which can be miniaturized by saving a space and a recording head nipping a printing face can be efficiently subjected to a recovery operation. SOLUTION: There is disclosed an inkjet recorder wherein one or more recording heads are provided at both sides of a recording medium, respectively such that the one or more recording heads are opposed with each other so as to nip the recording medium and can perform the printing at roughly the same time and the plurality of recording heads are reciprocated in a main scanning direction by a single driving source. A cap unit for protecting the recording heads is provided at each of both ends of a printing region so that capping operations for the plurality of recording heads can be performed at roughly the same time. |
