PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economically high exterior insulating method capable of easily, quickly and accurately insulating a building built with reinforced concrete walls or lightweight concrete panel walls. SOLUTION: A ventilating air layer 13 is inevitably constituted by assembling exterior insulating slabs 2 by attaching pin-attaching fittings 3 to concrete building frame walls or wooden columns 10; in the same way, when employing the exterior insulation for remodeling an existing building, the insulation slab attaching fittings are fastened to the exterior walls with anchor bolts regardless of non-moisture permeable wall surface such as stucco, bon tile, fire tile or the like on concrete walls, and the exterior insulating wall can be constructed by a simple work such as assembling the exterior insulating slabs after giving moisture permeability by drilling a proper number of holes through non-moisture permeable portion to a depth reaching the concrete.
