PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing ashtray which can sufficiently treat a nicotine-originated odor produced from cigarette butts. SOLUTION: This ashtray is disposed with a gas flow-forming mechanism in a box 2 on which a cigarette butte-receiving container 1 is loaded, disposing a deodorizer 3 in a gas flow-formed region, and blowing out the gas sublimated from the deodorizer 3 together with a gas charged from nozzles 21 disposed on the side portion of the box 2. Thereby, a deodorizing effect can quickly be realized in a room, and the nicotine-originated odor can strongly and quickly be deodorized.
