METHOD FOR PREVENTING DEVELOPMENT OF MICROORGANISM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing development of microorganisms by which the proliferation rates of various species of microorganisms can be reduced in common with the various species of microorganisms having the different proliferation rates and inhibitory effects on the proliferation of the various species of microorganisms can be increased. SOLUTION: This method for preventing the development of the microorganisms comprises regulating an ionized gas containing ions so that the temperature is <=10 deg.C and the humidity is >=80% at a negative ion concentration of >=10<4> ions/cm<3> and feeding the regulated ionized gas to objects proliferating the microorganisms and/or a space housing the objects.
