PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game ball lifting device hardly causing a lateral shift of a conveying belt. SOLUTION: A tension mechanism 16 is provided with at least an intermediate tension roller 18 energizing the conveying belt 14 by means of a coil spring 53 and a projection part 42b maintaining the rotation center axis of the intermediate tension roller 18 in a substantially parallel condition to a lifting cylinder main body 12. Even if energizing force by the coil spring 53 is reduced by a change with time, the intermediate tension roller 18 can be always energized in a substantially parallel condition to the conveying belt 14, so that a lateral shift of the conveying belt 14 can be prevented. Therefore, troubles such as damage and breakage of the conveying belt 14 due to a contact with another member constituting the ball lifting device 10 can be prevented. In production of the tension mechanism 16, dispersion of the energizing force of the coil spring 53 can be put out of consideration, so that production efficiency of the ball lifting device 10 can be improved.
