PURPOSE: An apparatus for throwing scrap sheet into box is provided, wherein the apparatus is installed at an end part of transfer conveyor to throw sheet type scrap generated during manufacturing of cold rolled product in a steel mill, that is, scrap sheet into the box. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a base(20) fixed to the front of the frame part(14) of scrap conveyor driven by a motor(12); transfer rolls(30) rotationally installed at one side of the base(20) to transfer scrap sheets (S) discharged from the conveyor; a supporting means(40) vertically movably installed on the base(20) at one side of the transfer rolls(30) to support transfer of the scrap sheet; first and second operating cams installed at one side of the supporting means(40) in such a manner that they are eccentrically rotated oppositely to each other; two-stage sheet bending rolls(60a,60b) which are contacted with the first operating cam(50a) at the upper side of the operating cams on the base(20) in such a way that outer end parts(60a',60b') are vertically movably rotated to enable the scrap sheet (S) to be bent; and an air injection pipe(70) which is installed at the front end part of the base(20) in a width direction of the base(20) and injects the maximum air when the outer end part of the bending rolls(60a,60b) is ascended with the air injection pipe(70) being contacted with the second operating cam, wherein the scrap sheet is aligned in the box when scrap sheet is dropped into a scrap box.
