PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive insulated electric wire/cable enabled to be distinguished and having antiweatherability. SOLUTION: An insulator 3 coated on a conductor 2 is constituted by being equipped of an inner layer 4 having antiweatherability and composed of an olefinic resin and a colored skin layer 5 consisting of the olefinic resin for distinguishing use. Further, the thickness of the colored skin layer 5 is made to be 0.05 mm to 0.5 mm. Antiweatherability is secured by the inner layer 4 of the insulator 3, and distinguishing becomes possible by the colored skin layer 5. Further, a characteristic as the insulating wire/cable is maintained with deterioration of the colored skin layer 5 only. Furthermore, influences on environments are reduced because the insulator 3 is composed of an olefinic resin.
