<p>PURPOSE: A wireless communication system and a handoff method for a real time service are provided to prevent a transmission delay of a datagram due to the hand-off and an occurrence of blocking. CONSTITUTION: Cluster agents(410,420) construct a cluster 1(415) and a cluster 2(425) as an independent network. The cluster agents(410,420) have plural external agents(410-1-410-n,420-1-420-n). A common external agent(430) belongs to the cluster 1(415) and the cluster 2(425) commonly. The cluster agents(410,420) are connected to an HA(Home Agent)(460) through Internet(450). The home agent(460) is connected to a response host(470). An MH(Mobile Host)(480) such a cellular phone and PDA(Personal Digital Assistance) etc. receives a service of datagram from the response host(470) through external agents(410-1-410-n,420-1-420-n,430) for managing lower networks positioning itself. The response host(470) transmits path message to the MH(480) and thus the position of the MH(480) is recognized. Also, the response host(470) transmits datagram to be transmitted to the MH(480) to the HA(460). The HA(460) provides position information of the MH(480) to the response host(470) and performs capsulation of datagram received from the response host(470) and thereafter transmits the datagram to the external agents(410-1-410-n,420-1-420-n,430) positioning the MH(480).</p> |
