PURPOSE: A method for providing a call connection sound capable of selecting a transmission sound by an originator at the time of call connection sound transmission is provided to record various melodies, sounds and advertising messages etc. instead of a ringback tone and listen selectively a desired thing as a call connection sound. CONSTITUTION: A sound source transmitting server(130) stores sound sources, information on service users and sound sources designated by users. The sound source transmitting server(130) transmits sound source to a transmitter by a connection request for transmitting a substitution sound of an exchange. A sound source management server(140) performs service subscription and sound source registration and designation of users through an ARS(Automatic Response System). A service management server(150) performs service subscription and sound source registration and designation of users via a wire/wireless Internet. A service management server(150) transmits information to the sound source transmitting server(130) and an HLR(Home Location Register) etc. and manages generally the service.
