PURPOSE: A pulley of drum-type washing machine is provided to improve forming property, increase processing accuracy and stiffness and reduce manufacturing cost by improving structure of the pulley. CONSTITUTION: The pulley of drum-type washing machine is characterized in that the pulley(105) is formed as a pulley axially connected to the rear side of drum is press forming a metal plate so as to rotate the drum by receiving power of motor through belt, wherein the pulley is made of an iron plate and consisted of a rear wall surface(105a) which is roughly formed in a cup shape, and at the center of which a hub part(105c) is formed so that a drum shaft is inserted into the hub part, and a side wall surface(105b) which is integrally formed perpendicularly to the rear wall surface so that the belt is surface contacted with the side wall part, wherein a plural embossing parts(105d) are circumferentially formed on the rear wall surface of the pulley with being spaced apart from each other in a certain distance so that the plural embossing parts not only improve stiffness of the pulley as a whole, but also function as a handle for rotating the pulley during winding operation of the belt, wherein a hub plate(120) is caulking connected to the central part of the rear wall surface to increase stiffness of a portion to which shaft is connected, and wherein the front end of the side wall surface of the pulley is outwardly rounded to accurately maintain circular shape of the pulley and secure safety of workers during high speed revolution through strength improvement of the pulley.
