PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder that can easily sort a plurality of recording paper sheets on which image information is recorded. SOLUTION: The recorder is provided with; a reception section that is connected to a communication line and receives image information together with address information; a recording section that records the received image information on recording paper; and a marking section that records an identifier corresponding to the address information on recording paper together with the received image information, and the marking section comprises; a storage section that stores a plurality of preset address information items and respective identifiers corresponding to the address information items; and a control section that reads the identifier corresponding to the received address information from the storage section and uses a recording section to record the read identifier on the recording paper.
