PURPOSE: To obtain an acaricide for preventing indoor acarina. CONSTITUTION: This acaricide for preventing the indoor acarina comprises 3-phenoxybenzyl(+)cis-chrysanthemate £component (a)| expressed by formula (I) and N,N-diethyl-m-toluamide £component (b)| expressed by formula (II) and the weight ratio of the components (a):(b) is 1:1.2-1:5. An aerosol formulation for controlling the indoor acaricide containing the same as an active agent and used for treating carpets is provided.
