PURPOSE: An ink jet printer is provided to obtain a slim structure and reduce the space occupied by the ink jet printer. CONSTITUTION: An ink jet printer comprises a paper feeding unit including a paper feeding tray(101) and a pick-up roller for picking up the paper loaded on the paper feeding tray; a transfer unit for transferring the paper fed from the paper feeding unit; a print unit having an ink cartridge, and which performs a printing process on the paper transferred from the transfer unit; and a paper delivery unit having a paper delivery tray(131) where sheets of paper printed by the print unit are stacked. The paper feeding tray and the paper delivery trays are spaced apart from each other in a vertical direction, and the paper feeding unit is disposed above the paper delivery unit. The ink cartridge is interposed between the paper feeding unit and the paper delivery unit.
