APPARATUS FOR PREVENTING DEFLECTION OF STRIP ON BRIDLE ROLLS

PURPOSE: An apparatus for preventing deflection of strip on bridle rolls is provided to prevent the strip from slipping on the bridle rolls by removing an acidic solution stuck to the strip between the strip and the surface of the bridle rolls. CONSTITUTION: In bridle rolls(10) a pair of which are laid down in a width direction of strip(200), which reciprocally form a certain height difference, and both shafts of which are rotationally installed at a frame(20) on facility by means of bearing block so that the strip passing through each process is proceeded with the strip being wounded around the bridle rolls in an 'S' character shape, the apparatus for preventing deflection of the strip on the bridle rolls comprises an acidic solution discharging screw groove(11) formed on the surface of the respective bridle rolls; a hood(40) installed at a frame between the bridle rolls so that the hood is positioned at the outer side of the side front end of the strip; a pipe(41) which is installed between both hoods so that the pipe is laterally installed at upper and lower parts of the strip passing between the bridle rolls; an air hose(42) connected to the pipe; a solenoid valve(43) installed at one side of the air hose; an injection nozzle arranged along the pipe with being spaced apart from each other in a certain distance to inject air onto the surface of the bridle rolls; a dry pipe(45) connected to the hood; and a dryer fan for supplying air into the dry pipe so that the apparatus removes the acidic solution between the bridle rolls and strip.
