<p>The invention concerns a method for direct injection of additive for internal combustion engine fuel, the internal combustion engine being associated with an exhaust line provided with a particulate filter, said method being based on monitoring the fuel level inside a tank (1) and actuating additive injection means. The invention is characterized in that the additive injection means are actuated after detection of fuel filling by comparing a former and a new fuel level, said detection being carried out during an idle speed maintained for a specific time interval, said former fuel level being then a value resulting from a single measurement operation.</p> |
