PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a decorative molded article by which the decorative molded article with a good surface condition can be obtained by preventing the surface sheet of a decorative sheet from falling into an orange peed surface when a preliminary molding is performed. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the decorative molded article, a base material sheet 2 formed of a thermoplastic resin and a surface sheet 3 made of another thermoplastic resin are laminated by heat adhesion at a temperature TLAM to prepare a decorative sheet 1, and the decorative sheet 1 is preliminarily molded into a surface shape of a female mold of a mold for injection molding by using the decorative sheet 1 and performing vacuum molding, at a temperature TPRE and under a condition where the preliminarily molded decorative sheet is mounted on the female mold of the mold for injection molding. The female mold and a male mold are clamped together and a resin under a fluid state is injected and filled into a cavity formed between both molds and is solidified therein to obtain a molded article. At the same time, the decorative sheet is laminated and stuck on the surface of the molded article, and a relation between the temperature TLAM of heat adhesion of the decorative sheet and the temperature TPRE of preliminary molding of the decorative sheet is set to be TLAM>=TPRE. |
