The invention relates to a refrigerating appliance comprising a refrigerant circulation device which is arranged in the housing (10) of the appliance and comprises a compressor (20), an evaporator (21), and a condenser (26) having an inner circuit and an outer circuit. Said inner circuit is in communication with a region to be cooled, preferably the inner region (30) of a control box, by means of a lateral wall (16) of the appliance housing, an air inlet (31) and an air outlet, the evaporator (21) being associated with the inner circuit and the condenser (26) of the refrigerant circulation device being associated with the outer circuit. According to the invention, all of the lateral walls (11-16), except the lateral wall comprising the air inlet (31) and the air outlet of the appliance housing, are fully closed, and the condenser (26) is embodied as a base plate (27) with integrated refrigerant lines (29), said base plate forming at least part of a lateral wall of the appliance housing and comprising refrigerating ribs (28) which protrude on the outer side thereof. In this way, the refrigerating appliance is provided with a structure having a system of protection IP 55 or higher, without impairing the function thereof.
