PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environmentally considered new cleaning agent and a method of manufacturing a plastic lens utilizing a cleaning method using the cleaning agent. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the lens molded goods comprising injecting a lens monomer of a diethylene glycol bis-allyl carbonate system into the cavity of a lens casting mold combined with a sealing material and molds and subjecting the monomer to casting polymerization, then removing the sealing material and cleaning the lens molded goods together with the molds with the cleaning agent containing glycol ether and water. The cleaning agent for the plastic lens or the plastic lens molds containing the glycol ether and the water.
