PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a precast foundation and a method for hoisting the same, which enable easy installation in a prescribed position. SOLUTION: Through-holes 11 and 11 are formed in a short-side direction in parts near both ends on the lower side of the precast foundation 1. Rod- shaped double-cut bolts 13 are inserted into the through-holes 11 and 11, respectively. Eyenuts 14 are mounted on both ends of the double-cut bolt 13. Hooks 15, which are provided at ends of (four) wires 16, are engaged with the respective eyenuts 14, so that preparations for hoisting the precast foundation 1 can be made. The wires 16 are pulled up by a crane, so that the precast foundation 1 can be hoisted.
