PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic containing a composition extracted from Tochu- kaso (fungi parasitic on larva) having strong antioxidation activity, free radical scavenging activity and tyrosinase inhibiting activity. SOLUTION: The composition is produced by inoculating Isaria japonica IM2001 strain (FERM P-18253) on the pupa of an aseptically grown silkworm, culturing the fungi and extracting the produced Tochu-kaso with water or various organic solvents by heating or by heating under pressure. A cosmetic such as beauty wash, milky lotion and cream is produced by adding cosmetic components such as oil, surfactant and humectant to the extracted Tochu-kaso composition.
