<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wedge-expanding mechanism having a deformation preventing means of a rolling body holding clip, which depresses the deformation of the rolling body holding clip, even when a wedge fluctuates in a plane vertical to an axis x-x of a plunger from deforming. SOLUTION: In the wedge expansion mechanism 10, where a pair of plungers 14, 15, whose one-side end faces are inclined faces 14a, 15a, are arranged opposite and slidably in a cylinder body 20 so that each inclined face interval gradually changes, and the pair of the plungers 14, 15 are driven toward the opposite direction in the axis x-x direction via the rolling bodies 18, 18a, supported with the action of the wedge 16, installed in between the both inclined faces 14a, 15a so that a brake is applied, the wedge 16 is formed to prevent the fluctuation within a plane vertical to the axis x-x of the plungers 14, 15 by deformation preventing means 14b, 16b of the rolling body holding clip 19.</p> |
