LIQUID CRYSTAL POLYESTER RESIN COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal composition capable of forming moldings having excellent mechanical strength, heat resistance and good surface appearance. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal polyester resin composition comprises 100 pts.wt. of a liquid crystal polyester (A), 5-140 pts.wt. of a compressed powder of talc having an apparent specific gravity of at least 0.4 g/cm<3> and 5-140 pts.wt. of a fibrous material having an average fiber diameter of 4-12μm. The composition is characterized by containing a whole aromatic polyester having a melting point of >=300 deg.C as a liquid crystal (A).
