STYRENIC RESIN FOAM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a styrenic resin foam which is a foam comprising a styrenic resin that is a thermoplastic resin excellent in recycling properties, in which problems of melt deformation and melt dropping during burning are dramatically improved, and which is excellent in environmental compatibility, flame retardancy and thermal insulation. SOLUTION: A method for producing the styrenic resin foam comprises melt-kneading a styrenic resin composition (D) consisting of a styrenic resin (A), a phenolic resin (B) and a curing agent (C) and foaming by adding a foaming agent after or during crosslinking reaction.
