<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and convenient holding device capable of holding various sizes of framed metal masks, as well as accurately positioning a laser beam focus on a processed surface even though the dimensional accuracy is poor. SOLUTION: This holding device is provided with a fixed frame 20 containing a X guide member 21 and a Y guide member 22 in a X-direction and a Y- direction, respectively, on its XY stage. It also is provided with fixing brackets 23 and 24 holding the opposite angle section of a framed metal mask 15 to be engaged in the X guide member 21 and the Y guide member 22, respectively, as well as each transportation device for moving the fixing brackets 23 and 24. Additionally, in order to set the processed surface of the framed metal mask 15 to the prescribed height, the fixing brackets 23 and 24 are provided with both a top member against which the upper face of the framed metal mask 15 strikes and touches, and a clamping means allowing the framed metal mask 15 to strike and touch the top member.</p> |
