PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mini test tube which makes the observation and handling of a trace amount of contents contained in the lower part of the tube easier and can be used for a trace amount of sample without causing any loss, and from which the frost adhering to the external surface of the tube when the tube is taken out of a refrigerator can be removed easily. SOLUTION: This mini test tube 1 is composed of a cap 2, a tube body 3, and a stand 4. The cap 2 is detachably fitted to the upper part 5 of the cylindrical body 3. The lower part 8 of the tube body 3 has a conically narrowed-down shape, and the stand 4 has a cylindrical shape and attached to the outside of the lower part 8 of the main body 3 so that the stand 4 may hold the tube 1 in a vertically erected state. The stand 4 is provided with at least one window 9 at a position from which the conically narrowed-down bottom section of the tube 1 can be observed from the outside. This mini test tube 1 is improved in handleability for a trace amount of liquid in the lower part of the tube body 3.
