PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel, and a method for manufacturing the same by arranging electrodes, dielectrics, and a separating wall between front and back plates which are opposite, and sealing the front and back plates with a sealing material, and to provide a glass composition for composing the sealing material. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a plasma display panel comprises sealing under the temperature condition having the viscosity of the glass composition of 10<2> -10<6> Pas. The glass composition has the viscosity of 10<2> -10<6> Pas at the firing temperature in the sealing process.
