PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible synthetic leather release paper high in heat resistance which is excellent in cracking resistance and heat resistance. SOLUTION: A first flexible synthetic leather release paper high in heat resistance is composed of a 4-metyl-1-pentene copolymer layer of the copolymer of 4-methyl-1-pentene and a 16-20Cα-olefin and base material paper. In a second flexible synthetic leather release paper, the 4-methyl-1-pentene copolymer layer, a poly(4-methyl-1-pentene) composition layer, and the base material paper are laminated in turn.
