PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the configuration of a front fork with an upper end part thereof supported by a lower end part of a steering shaft, to easily form the front fork, and to improve the strength of the front fork. SOLUTION: The front fork 12 with the upper end part thereof supported by the lower end part of the steering shaft 11 comprises a bracket 63 supported by the lower end part of the steering shaft 11, a pair of right and left upper tubes 65 and 65 extending straight downwardly from right and left side part sides of the bracket 63, and a pair of right and left lower tubes 66 and 66 fitted to the lower end part side of each upper tube 65 so as to be slidable in the axial direction. The bracket 63 is integrated with the right and left upper tubes 65 and 65. An upper end parts 72 of each upper tube 65 is protruded upwardly from an upper surface of each side part of the bracket 63.
