REVERSIBLE THERMAL RECORDING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible thermal composition with which forming and erasing of an image with good contrast are possible and the image can be stably held with the lapse of time under an environment of everyday life and a reversible thermal recording material using it. SOLUTION: The reversible thermal recording material is characterized by comprising an electron donating dye precursor being ordinarily colorless or light-colored and expressed by general formula (1) and an electron accepting compound expressed by general formula (2) which can generate a reversible change in color tone to the dye precursor by heating.
