PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection molding machine in which cooling time and dry cycle can be shortened and accordingly, cycle time can be shortened. SOLUTION: A recessed part 61 of a runner 73 is provided on a joining face 60 being joined on an opposite face 70 of a mold 1 facing to a nozzle 6A, and an injection opening 62 is opened on the bottom part of the recessed part 61. As a molten material is filled in the recessed part 61 before it is filled into the runners 73A and 73B, and the molten material filled in the recessed part 61 is started to be cooled immediately after filling is completed; the cooling time of the molten material is shortened. In addition, after injection is completed, when the mold 1 is separated from the nozzle 6A, the molten resin solidified in the recessed part 61 is exposed outside of the mold 1, and a stroke for clamping is shortened by the portion to be able to shorten the dry cycle.
