PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens drive unit constituted so that a photographer can easily confirm the present operation state of the lens device in various using situations. SOLUTION: In the lens drive unit which is attached to a lens device 1 so as to servo-drive the lens device, light emitting parts 6a and 6b equipped with a display function are arranged in a part exposed beyond the lens device in the drive unit main body, and the light is emitted when the lens device is manually operated, or when the lens device is servo-driven.
