A window roller shutter (9) is stored wound on a spindle (5) within a cassette (4) and emerges via a slit (10) to descend through the grooves (11) in two vertical guide rails (2) against the window frame. The emerging blind (9) feeds through a converging funnel (12) to the slit (10). The cassette end-caps (3) have downward-directed pegs (17) which engage in sockets (16) in the vertical guide rails (2). One of the inlet funnels (12) is esp. devoid of fitting pegs and is secured above the fixing peg (17) of the respective end-cap (3).
