PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photo-curing composition capable of reducing occurrences of environmental problems, such as a problem of work environment and air pollution, and especially having excellent cure sensitivity, water resistance (resistance to boiling water), and adhesion, and to provide a method for curing the composition. SOLUTION: This photo-curing composition is given by emulsifying a composition with an emulsifier, wherein the composition comprises a resin containing acidic groups, a reactive prepolymer, and/or a reactive monomer, and a photopolymerization initiator, the emulsifier contains a volatile surfactant, and the acidic groups are not substantially neutralized. The volatile surfactant preferably comprises a nonionic surfactant. The reactive monomer preferably contains one or more ethylenic unsaturated bonds and acidic groups in its molecule. The method for curing the composition comprises subjecting the photo-curing composition to coating, and then to optical processing and/or thermal processing.
