PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buckle device with a detecting mechanism which can surely detect insertion of the tongue plate into the device main body. SOLUTION: A permanent magnet 352 and a GMR element 354 are equipped in this buckle device 210 and a shield plate 378 is equipped on an ejector 234 of the buckle device 210 via a lever 374. When a tongue plate 330 whose engaging piece 258 is inserted into a position engageable with a through hole 338 presses the ejector 234 to move, the shield plate 378 intervenes in between the permanent magnet 352 and the GMR element 354 to shield the line of magnetic force from the permanent magnet 352 toward the GMR element 354. Accordingly the line of magnetic force across the GMR element 354 is extremely reduced to drastically and largely change an electric resistance value of the GMR element 354. |
