PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial flower made of cloth which is attached to a mourning dress or clothes when attending a funeral, a memorial service, or the like. SOLUTION: A piece of cloth (A) is formed in a four-sided figure by being cut in a square and a polygon, subjected to windingly sewing process to edge sections by an overlock machine, and is formed into a petal cluster 1 through a step of gathering a middle section. Another piece of cloth (B) or the like is cut in a square and a polygon, subjected to windingly sewing process to edge sections by the overlock machine, turned down a plurality of times, and is formed into a sub-ornament section 2 through a plurality of folding. A folded portion of the sub-ornament section 2 is connected to a back face central portion of the petal cluster 1 by a fixing member 3 or the like, an ornament body 4 is mounted on the central portion of the petal cluster 1, a fastener 5 and a black and white ribbon 6, etc., for mourning are attached to the connecting portion, and an accessory 7 or the like for distinguishing is mounted on the fastener 5.
