PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking utensil capable of operating with one hand and without making the hand dirty and capable of scooping and shaping ingredients of a GYOZA and a meat ball, etc., or scooping and dissolving MISO. SOLUTION: In a grip-driven cooking utensil which comprises a pair of grips arranged at the proximal end of a handle, a scooping part arranged at the distal end of the handle, and a rotator that rotates along an inner circumference of the scooping part and is driven by squeezing or releasing motions, the utensil which is characterized in that it comprises a nearly hemisphere scooping bowl as the scooping part, in that it comprises a nearly hemisphere rotating bowl or a nearly hemisphere rotating bowl having a cut out part as the rotator and the rotating bowl is located at a position that overlaps with the scooping bowl, in that openings are created on the scooping bowl and the rotating bowl such as by making holes to use as a MISO-dissolving utensil and a mixing stick is made move so as to promote the dissolving of MISO, and in that a pushing bowl is linked with the squeezing and releasing motions of the grips.
