PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste sorting room in which workers are not in danger of inhaling dust even when the workers stand on the both sides of a transport conveyer. SOLUTION: An air sending port 5 for ventilation is arranged downward on the ceiling 3 just above the conveyer 1 and air discharging ports 9 are arranged respectively on walls 6 behind the workers A standing on both sides of the conveyer 1 at the height of <=1.5 m from the floor 7. The dust soaring from the conveyer 1 is made to ride the downward air flow sent from the port 5 and discharged toward each of the ports 9 at the position lower than that of the face of each of the workers A together with the downward air flow so that the workers A can do sorting work in a good environment without sucking the dust.
