PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluidizing apparatus for powder and granular materials, having a fluidized bed, controlling the behavior of the powder and granular materials by supplying gas from the outer peripheral side of a treatment chamber through a circumferential face plate 212, thereby applying centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the circumferential face plate 212 to the powder and granular materials while applying centripetal force thereto, and in which can carry out various treatments such as mixing, granulation, coating, drying and reaction, even if the powder and granular materials are in a micron or submicron area. SOLUTION: A gas circulation passage 215 is formed on the outer periphery side of the treatment chamber 2 through the circumferential face plate 212, and the circumferential face plate 212 is formed so as to be rotatable around a shaft center.
