PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a condensation system for condensible gas containing an acid component in a heat exchanger, capable of preventing the corrosion of the heat exchanger caused by the acid component. SOLUTION: In the condensation system for condensing the gas containing the acid component in the heat exchanger, a diluting liquid is added to the gas in the vicinity of the inlet of the heat exchanger of the gas. As an embodiment, the acid component in the gas is formic acid, acetic acid and/or propionic acid and the gas contains cumene, water and hydrogen, and is obtained by the gas-liquid separation of a reaction mixture wherein cumyl alcohol is converted to cumene by hydrocracking.
