PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize simple construction of a frieze board on the top plate of a wall cabinet placed in a kitchen, etc., and to enable the frieze board to be installed on the top plate without adjustment working even when the ceiling wall face has inclination or distortion against the horizontal level of the top plate face and to be replaced by simple work when the frieze board is soiled, discolored, or cracked. SOLUTION: This is frieze board structure to cover a space G formed in between the top plate face A1 of a wall cabinet A and a ceiling wall face W2 in a room. Retaining rails 1 are equipped faced against the top plate face A of the wall cabinet A and the ceiling wall face W2 in the room so as to be positioned in front of the space G and on the opening ends of both side faces and frieze boards 2A, 2B, 2C are mounted on the retaining rails 1.
