PURPOSE: A method for preparing a vinyl chloride-based resin is provided, to improve impact resistance of a vinyl chloride-based resin by adding an impact modifying latex or a processing auxiliary latex. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the step of adding 0.01-5 parts by weight of at least one selected from the group consisting of an acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene resin latex obtained by surface graft polymerizing acrylonitrile and styrene to a butadiene-based rubber particle, a methyl methacrylate-butadiene-styrene resin latex obtained by surface graft polymerizing methyl methacrylate and styrene to a butadiene-based rubber particle, a core-shell-structured acrylate-based rubber particle-based latex obtained by surface graft polymerizing methyl methacrylate and styrene to butyl acrylate, hexyl acrylate, octyl acrylate, pentyl acrylate or 2-ethylhexyl acrylate rubber particle, and a vinyl chloride-based resin processing aid latex, to 100 parts by weight of a vinyl chloride vinyl slurry in an initial step of polymerization or after the polymerization is terminated.
