The electromagnetic lock for a door has a bolt and a semi-round bolt held in an extended position by a spring. The bolts are operated by a rotary catch controlled by a rotary stop to place the bolts in a retracted position. The lock has stops which index the movement of the catch when it is locked or prevent the extension of the bolt when it is in an unlocked position.
