PURPOSE: A method for furnishing remote control function data is provided to update remote control functions by analyzing the remote control functions newly added to electric appliances based on an infrared signal method, and to furnish an integrated remote controller with various remote control functions so that a user can upgrade the remote control functions without a manual operation. CONSTITUTION: A main computer decides whether frequency analysis data outputted from a remote control data downloader are inputted(S100). If so, the main computer analyzes the frequency analysis data and produces an infrared signal reproducing operation mode of an integrated remote controller(S200). The main computer produces a time table for reproducing infrared signals, to sequentially output the infrared signals in the integrate remote controller(S300). The main computer configures infrared signal data to perform various remote control functions through the time table(S400). And the main computer displays a message for the analysis of the infrared signal data, and outputs remote control function data to the integrated remote controller through the remote control data downloader(S500).
