APPARATUS FOR MEASURING DANGER DEGREE OF GAS-INSULATED HIGH VOLTAGE DEVICE AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring danger degree of a gas-insulated high voltage device and a method thereof are provided to prevent an insulation breakdown accident of a GIS(Gas-Insulated Switchgear) on operation in a real field in advance. CONSTITUTION: According to the apparatus for measuring danger degree of a gas-insulated high voltage device predicting possibility of insulation breakdown due to an inner defect like particle, a partial discharge signal detector(110) detects a partial discharge signal generated by an inner defect like particle. A band pass filter unit(113) extracts a selective discharge signal from the above partial discharge signal. And a period detection unit(119) detects a period of the above selective discharge signal. Danger degree considering an operation voltage is judged by calculating an increase height of particle by inserting the above period into an equation.
