<p>A brush seal is created between two members (100), one of which may rotate with respect to the other. A bonding agent (104) is applied to one or both members (100), each of which may include a groove (102) for application of the bonding agent (104). Flexible filaments (200) are then embedded into the bonding agent (104) by, for example, electrostatic flocking. After the bonding agent (104) hardens or cures, the brush seal is created.</p> |
