AUXILIARY SUPPORT FOR ELECTRON GUN FOR CATHODE RAY TUBE

PURPOSE: An auxiliary support for an electron gun for a cathode ray tube is provided to reduce defective ratio of an electron gun by improving impact resistance of the auxiliary support and stem pin. CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary support(10) comprises a welding portion(A) to be welded with a stem pin; a support portion(B) for supporting the weight of an electron gun; and a fixing portion(C) to be fixed to a bead glass. The auxiliary support has an embossing(18) which is formed in the lengthwise direction of the auxiliary support so as to reinforce the strength of the auxiliary support. The embossing is extended from an end of the welding portion to the part of the fixing portion, passing through the support portion.
