PURPOSE: An improved wing body of a truck is provided to prevent seeping of rain with a hinged structure of the wing and to improve rigidity. CONSTITUTION: An improved wing body of a truck includes front and rear transverse beams(5); a longitudinal beam(7); a channel member(13); journals(15); two wings(9) and a shaft(17). Front and rear transverse beams form transverse structure of the tray. Front and rear transverse beams are fixed to corners of a floor of the tray. The longitudinal beam fixes front and rear transverse beams by connecting upper centers of front and rear transverse beams. The channel member is fixed to an upper portion of the longitudinal beam. Therein, the channel member induces drainage of rain. Journals are fixed to a floor inside the channel member. The wing is combined to the transverse beams by a cylinder(11). The wing has many hinges to one end of the upper portion. Therein, the wing opens and closes the tray in side direction. The shaft is inserted to journals and hinges of the wing. The wing is rotated with the shaft by an operation of the cylinder. Wings are formed with fiber reinforced plastic. Consequently, rain does not seep inside the wing and weight of the tray is reduced. Rigidity and durability are improved.
