A solar collector branch (18) has a vaporizer branch (32) and a superheater branch (34), in which a liquid heat-transmitting substance can be vaporized and overheated. A recirculating line (58) recycles the liquid heat-transmitting substance. A steam turbine (16) is fed with steam that is generated. At a coupling point the recirculating line links into the vaporizing branch downstream to an inlet for the solar collector branch. An Independent claim is also included for a method for operating a solar thermal power-generating facility.
