The invention relates to a process for growing fresh-water crayfish in mixed culture with non-predatory species of fish, comprising a first stage where the shelters for the juveniles are placed in some ponds, the ponds being then filled with water during the period from the 10-th to the 20-th of May, when the temperature of the water is of 18 degree C, during the period from the 1-st to the 15-th of June said ponds being populated with juveniles of 5...10 days of age, at a density of 1...8 individuals/ m2 of water surface, afterwards the ponds being populated with juvenile fish of 21 days of age, in October-November the juveniles of one summer of age being harvested, disinfected with formalin and the ponds being populated for wintering during the period from the 15-th of October to the 15-th of November. During the second stage, the fish ponds are populated with juveniles of one year old, at a density of 0.5...1 individual/m2 of water surface, and after the growing period the crayfish harvesting is carried out.
